GNOJNIK: SEPTEMBER 1 WITH A NEW DIRECTOR
Two months ago, they said goodbye to their principal. Now they welcomed her successor. At the Jan Kubisz Elementary School in Gnojnik, the new school year began on Tuesday with a new principal: Adam Klus.   

A NEW POLISH PRESCHOOL IS ALREADY SERVING CHILDREN
Today marks the start of the school year in elementary schools, high schools, and preschools. In Olbrachcice, the Polish preschool is kicking off the school year in a new building. An Open House was held there yesterday. 

A CELEBRATION OF THE HARVEST AND TRADITION: THE STONAWSKI HARVEST FESTIVAL
The Stonawa Harvest Festival celebrated its 13th edition on Sunday. It was by no means an unlucky one. The weather was great, the crowd turned out in force, the performances were well-received, and most importantly, there was plenty to be thankful for. Agriculture is thriving in Stonawa. 

CHANCE NATIONAL LEAGUE: TŘINEC STILL WINLESS. OSTRAVA'S RESERVES WIN THE DERBY AT LEŚNA
The Třinec soccer players are still waiting for their first win of the second-division season. The league’s newcomer didn’t imagine the derby against Ostrava’s reserves at home would go this way. The coaches had expected the Matchday 6 game of the Chance National League to be a closely contested match, but the reality was quite different. "If Ostrava had capitalized on all their chances, we would have lost 1–8,” commented Lubomír Luhový—who, together with Tomáš Hejdušek, coaches the Třinec team in the second division this season—on the 1–4 loss.
