Liberda, an extraordinary figure, was the subject of a lecture by the PZKO
Intergenerational Regional University (MUR), hosted by Renata Putzlacher, a
writer, translator and publicist, at the Dziupla Club on Thursday. – This is a
very personal meeting for me,” she confessed, sharing with the audience her
memories of Bronislaw Liberda, an exceptional painter, illustrator, musician
and director from Zaolzie. For years he provided cartoons for „Głos Ludu”.

serious health problems on a daily basis. The proceeds from the booth that
Karviná's Roman Catholic parish had throughout the second week of Advent in
Fryštát's market square were divided into equal thirds.

afternoon the 12th edition of the Polish elementary school Christmas Carols
Concert took place in Jablunkov. In addition to the school choirs, the Men's
Choir "Gorol” also performed.
February 1 Skiing
For The Stars. Train Hard!
The 50th
anniversary edition of the Star Rally, a prestigious skiing event for Polish
elementary school students in Zaolzie, is fast approaching. This year's
organizer, the Gustav Przeczek Elementary School and Kindergarten with Polish
Language of Teaching in Třinec, invites everyone to the Polish Beskidy mountains
on February 1. The downhill skiing competition will take place in the Zloty
Groń resort in Istebna, while the cross-country competition will be held in
Kubalonka.

Crazy Shooting Competition In Werk Arena. Třinec's Loss In Penalties
What a
match it was! The hockey players of Třinec and Liberec treated the spectators
to an unforgettable visual experience on Tuesday, turning the duel of the 34th
round of the Tipsport Ekstraliga into a veritable shooting contest. After
regulation time, as well as overtime, the score remained 6:6, with the second
point going to Liberec in penalties.
