Determining the date of next year's Congress of the Polish Cultural and Educational Association, selecting a candidate for the Council of Government for National Minorities, announcing statutory changes regarding the election of the PZKO president, and discussing the situation of the PZKO House on Bozka Street in Český Těšín and the renovation of Fasalovka – these were the main issues of Tuesday's PZKO Presidents' Convention.

At the Faculty of Medicine at Ostrava University, 41 dentistry students have started the new academic year. This is a good forecast for a region facing a shortage of dentists. Especially since more than half of them come from the Moravian-Silesian region.

If everything had gone according to plan, the Polish Singing Ensemble "Hutnik” would have already had its 70th anniversary concert. Life wrote a different scenario for the choir, as a result of which the anniversary celebration was postponed to next year's May.
