VOUCHERS FOR FIRST-GRADERS AND PRESCHOOLERS
On Tuesday, all schools in Zaolzie will hold ceremonies to mark the start of the 2026–2027 school year. On that day, 252 first-grade students at Polish elementary schools will receive school supply kits through the "First-Grader’s Voucher” project. Meanwhile, children at 32 Polish and Polish-Czech preschools will receive the "Preschooler’s Voucher.” Both initiatives are projects of the School Association in the Czech Republic. 

SINGER EWA FARNA ON A MURAL IN TRZYNIEC
Třinec has a mural featuring Ewa Farna. The mural, located on the heat exchange plant building on Lidická Street, was created during the Barwy Miasta festival.

CHANCE NATIONAL LEAGUE: A SCORELESS DRAW AT RUDOLF ŁABAJ STADIUM. KARVINÁ REMAINS IN FIRST PLACE
Even on their fourth attempt, the Třinec players were unable to secure a victory in the second division. In Monday’s final match of the 4th round of the Chance National League, the team coached by Tomáš Hejdušek and Lubomír Luhový played to a scoreless draw at home against Ústí nad Labem. This marks the third draw for the league’s newcomer this season. After Monday’s match, MFK Karviná remains in first place.
