Competition for logo for 80th anniversary of "Voice” extended
The competition to mark the 80th anniversary of the "Voice” has been extended until the end of February. Such a decision was made at Wednesday's meeting by the competition's chapter, composed of: Marek Slaviaczek, president of the Pol-Press company that publishes the newspaper (chairman), Ewa Golębiowska, long-time director of the Cieszyn Castle, Marek Chmiel, graphic designer, who cooperates with "Głos,” Wladyslaw Owczarzy, long-time technical editor of our newspaper, and its editor-in-chief, Tomasz Wolff. More than a dozen works were submitted for the contest.

Szczyrk: Czech skier killed in slope accident
A tragic accident occurred Thursday at the Szczyrk Mountain Resort ski resort. A 47-year-old skier from the Czech Republic, who most likely fell off the slope while skiing, died. Police and a prosecutor intervened at the scene.

The Malisz Band will perform in Havířov
It will be a concert full of beautiful rhythms and good energy - the Malisz Band, which comes from Męcina Mala in the Beskid Niski region, will present itself to our audience on Thursday, February 27 at 6:00 pm at the Leoš Janáček Music School in Havířov.
