33RD TIME
ON FOOT TO JASNA GÓRA
The 33rd
Zaolzie – Jasna Góra Pilgrimage set off from Český Těšín to Częstochowa on
Saturday morning. The pilgrims embarked on the approximately 160-kilometer
route after the inaugural Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
THIS WILL
BE A 21ST CENTURY FACILITY. WHERE ARE THEY BUILDING SUCH A DIAGNOSTIC CENTER?
The AGEL
Hospital in Ostrava-Vitkovice will offer world-class diagnostics for
cardiovascular diseases. A Photon Center in Ostrava is being built thanks to
cooperation with AGEL Hospital in Třinec-Podlesie.
OSTRAVA BID
FAREWELL TO THIS YEAR'S COLOURS IN THE RHYTHM OF DANCE MUSIC
The 22nd
edition of the Colours of Ostrava festival is behind us, which from Wednesday
to Saturday merged the industrial zone of Vítkovice Dolne into one cohesive,
well-functioning cultural training ground. Thirty minutes after midnight,
already on Sunday, American electronic-dance vibes duo The Chainsmokers
performed on the main Česká Spořitelna Stage. With cosmic visuals and cosmic
sounds. Other than that, Saturday's stop was among the most modest in its long
history in terms of musical offerings.
KARVINÁ'S
SUCCESSFUL START. BANIK WITHOUT POINTS
We made a
successful entrance into the season, admitted Martin Hyský, coach of MFK
Karviná, after Saturday's game. His team at the inauguration of the season
defeated Dukla Prague 2:0, confirming that they were favorites in this clash
for a reason. In a completely different mood are the players of Banik Ostrava,
who lost a skirmish with Bohemians Praha 0:1.
