With coal mining in the Ostrava-Karviná coalfield nearing its end, OKD is preparing a publication on the occupations that will disappear with the closure of the last mine. It will be released in June.

Polish "Handlówka” Class Under Siege
We know the number of this year's ninth-graders who wish to continue their education in secondary schools with Polish as their language of instruction in the 2025/26 school year. The Polish Juliusz Słowacki Middle School in Český Těšín and the Commercial Academy in Český Těšín have 121 students in the first place.

Tasty Dictation For All
