The Wislawa Szymborska Polish Elementary School in Wędrynia invited children and their parents to an Open Day combined with workshops on Thursday. There were, among others, robot demonstrations, theater, a cafeteria, art classes, chemical experiments. All in a colorful, spring scenery and cozy atmosphere, which was taken care of by the students and teachers of the Wędrynia school who showed them around.

Songs by Ota Žabka resounded on Sunday afternoon at the PZKO House in Nawsie. A meeting dedicated to the memory of the Silesian composer, singer and folklorist, who, if he were still alive, would have celebrated his 105th birthday this year, was held there in a family atmosphere.
