The Pedagogical Center for Polish National Education in Český Těšín is celebrating its 30th anniversary. We talk about its current affairs with its director Marta Kmeť. As many as 68 students out of 102 studying at the Elementary School with Polish Language in Sucha Górna ended the first half of the year with honors. The summary of the first part of the year was attended by Consul Stanisław Bogowski of the Polish Consulate General in Ostrava, who presented Anna Jiravska with an award from the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland for second place in the "In a Word – Poland” recitation contest for Polish and Polish-American school students from around the world.

Counting of donations collected in the 25th anniversary Epiphany Fundraiser is nearing completion across the country. Caritas organizations in our region have already managed to count the contents of all piggy banks. More records have been broken.

The ski team of the Moravian-Silesian Voivodeship, consisting of Sara Folwarczna, Valentina Konopáčová, Marian Wojtyla and Daniel Bahenský, won a bronze medal today in the parallel slalom at the 2025 Children and Youth Games, another success for young alpine skiers at the event. The "team” gold went to the team of the Hradec Králové region.
