JABLUNKOV: ANDRZEJ GÖBEL IS THE NEW PRESIDENT OF MK PZKO
Andrzej Göbel has become the new president of the MK PZKO in Jablunkov – this is the result of a meeting of the board elected last Sunday, which selected the new authorities of the circle from among themselves. Kazimierz Jachnicki and Marek Niedoba became vice presidents. The meeting was held on the first Thursday of April.

ZUZANNA JASTRZEBSKA-KRAJEWSKA ARGUES THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE STEP TO MATHEMATICS
"Movement + music = math” is the title of a best-selling guide for parents and teachers, whose author is Zuzanna Jastrzębska-Krajewska, who was affiliated for many years with the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education in Warsaw. This not-at-all-obvious title relationship became the impetus for me to interview her during the EDUdialog conference, organized by the Pedagogical Center for Polish National Education in Český Těšín.

SHE SANG AT THE OPENING OF HER EXHIBITION. DARINA KRYGIEL IN HAVÍŘOV
The House of Culture "Joy” in Havířov hosted the opening of an exhibition of paintings by the well-known artist Darina Krygiel from Mladovice on Wednesday. The occasion was the 70th anniversary of the founding of the city of Havířov and the painter's life jubilee.

WĘDRYNIA: FOR MEDALS IN POLONIA TENNIS
A record number of players have been taking part since Thursday in the 3rd Polonia International Indoor Tennis Championships. The four-day tournament at the Vitality hall in Vendryně has lured Polish tennis players from Lithuania, Austria, Germany, as well as more distant corners of the world. An almost 30-member representation of Poles in the Czech Republic is also vying for medals.
