The border bridge between Stary Bogumin and Chałupki in Poland has undergone diagnostic tests. Experts from both banks of the Odra River are checking the technical condition of the structure in order to carry out repair work.

Residents of Karwina have the worst life. At least, that's according to a ranking prepared by Obce v datech (in Polish, Municipalities in Data), which compares 29 indicators of quality of life in 206 cities in the Czech Republic. Karwina found itself at the bottom of it. The snag is that it has virtually no chance to climb higher.
