MUSICAL EVENT: Trebunie-Tutki took the audience to the Rocky Podhale
It was a
unique concert full of good energy - as part of the "Polish
Thursdays" series organized by the Polish Center of the Congress of Poles
in the Czech Republic in Mosty near Jablonkov, the famous highland band
Trebunie-Tutki performed. In the PZKO "Kasowy" House, the audience heard
pastorals popular in the Tatra Mountains nad learned about the customs of
caroling in Podhale and sang the most beautiful Polish carols together with the
artists who were accompanied in the finale by local musicians.

Echoes of
Wednesday's train accident in Lutynia Dolna, in which the driver of an Inter
City train was killed and 19 people were injured, are not fading away. On
Friday, the driver of a truck that was hit by a speeding Nawsie-Prague express
train was released from custody.
Call for
entries for the 4th edition of Hestia's Literary Journey competition has opened
The first
stage of this year's 4th edition of Hestia's Literary Journey competition, the
call for books written for young male and female readers, has started. This
year, the chapter's final verdict will be supported by the voice of the Youth
Literary Council, which includes Wislawa Szymborska's PSP in Wędrynia.

Stars of high jump in Třinec
The next edition of the Beskydy Crossbar international athletics event
is coming up. On February 7, the the Werk Arena will feature stars of high
jump, including Poland's current best high jumper Norbert Kobielski.
