Bystrica: In-field
Representative Council
Thursday's
meeting of the Council of Representatives of the Congress of Poles in the Czech
Republic differed from previous ones: it was open and in the field. It was held
at the PZKO Polish House in Bystrzyca. The main topics were a presentation on
the current state of bilingualism in Zaolzie and preparations for the General
Assembly of the PC.
We do not tolerate
anti-Semitism. Anywhere
Poland's
Ambassador to Prague Mateusz Gniazdowski took part in ceremonies in Liberec
commemorating the sad 85th anniversary of the so-called Kristallnacht – an
anti-Jewish pogrom in Nazi Germany that also included lands detached from
Czechoslovakia as a result of the Munich Agreement, the Polish Embassy reported
on Platform X.
Last chance to reclaim property
The Office
of State Representation in Property Affairs reminds that only until the end of
2023 can owners of insufficiently identified properties come forward. If they
fail to do so, they will be forfeited to the state. The Congress of Poles in
the RC is ready to help those affected take prompt legal action.
Czeski Cieszyn: Poetry in
All Souls' Day moods
Poetry by
Ewa Furtek, Jacek Sikora and the late artist Bronislaw Liberda resounded at
dusk on Tuesday at the first "Literary All Souls" in the "Avion"
cafe. In an atmosphere of autumn nostalgia, those who departed for "that
shore" were remembered.

cause
On the

charity run was held. The goal was to support the "Muži proti
rakovině" Foundation and spread awareness of cancer and its prevention.
