After all, the founders were the inhabitants of Cieszyn who decided to create a defensive formation of the city – says Piotr Bogaczewski, president of the Cieszyn Kurek (Rooster) Fraternity, which during the Feast of the Three Brothers celebrated the 230th anniversary of the founding of the Cieszyn Shooting Society and the 30th anniversary of its reactivation.

TRZYNIEC: MAJOR DIFFICULTIES DUE TO CONSTRUCTION
Drivers passing through Trzyniec must prepare for further difficulties – as of July 7, after repairs on the old I/11 road are completed, work will begin on Frydecka Street near the Evangelical Church in the area of the intersection with Lidická Street. This involves repairing the bridge over the Krzywiec stream. During this time there will be a partial restriction of traffic. At the same time, the reconstruction of traffic lights on Frydecka Street will begin.

KARWINA: FIRST-GRADERS WERE MADE READERS
Fourteen students from the first grade of a Polish elementary school in Karviná officially became readers of the Karviná Regional Library on Wednesday, June 18. In the Polish Literature Department, librarians prepared specific tasks for them, after which Deputy Mayor Andrzej Bizoń, accompanied by library director Markéta Kukrechtova, officially "belted” the students as readers.
