Krakow: 26th International Book Fair has started
The 26th International Book Fair in Krakow officially opened
Thursday with a traditional bugle call. More than 470 exhibitors and 700
authors have announced their participation in the event, which will last until
Sunday.
Heading to the Balkans. Banik Karviná has met its rival in
the third round of the EHF Cup
Rukometni Klub Leotar from Bosnia and Herzegovina will be
the opponent of handball players of Banik Karviná in the 3rd round of the EHF
Cup. As luck would have it, the charges of coach Michal Brůna will once again
face a team from the Balkans, as they did last season.
Bogumin: Touching visit by grandson of Jan Nowaczyk, victim
of Polenlager No. 32
The local PZKO club in Bogumin-Skrzeczoń was visited by
Krzysztof Nowaczyk, the grandson of Jan Nowaczyk who died in the labor camp
"Polenlager No. 32" in Bogumin and was buried in the
Bogumin-Skrzeczoń cemetery. – It was an extremely moving meeting and full of
historical symbolism," admits Czeslaw Galuszka, president of the Skrzeczoń
club.
Theater goes to the audience. The Polish Stage will showcase
"Women's Wardrobe" in Jablunkov, Bledovice, Piosek....
Actors of the Polish Stage of the Těšín Theater in Český
Těšín will travel to the field to present the play "Ladies' Wardrobe"
to audiences on small stages in Jablunkov, Bledovice, Piosek and Piotrowice
near Karviná.
