105 YEARS
OF THE HEJNAŁ-ECHO MALE CHOIR
The male
choir "Hejnał-Echo" has been an integral part of the thriving PZKO
club in Karwina-Frysztat for many years. Our choir has its origins in two
predecessors: "Echo" from Karwina, founded in 1920, and
"Hejnał" from Frysztat, founded in 1935. On the occasion of the 105th
anniversary, we would like to present a brief history and activities of the
choir in a slightly different form.
A THEATER
THAT WILL RETURN AFTER YEARS
It will be
an unusual event – on Sunday, November 16, at 4 p.m., people associated with
the ZG PZKO Theater, which operated in the 1970s and early 1980s, will meet at
the "Dziupla" Club in Czeski Cieszyn. It grew out of summer classes
conducted by the then actors of the Polish Stage – Karol Suszka and Marek
Mokrowiecki.
MYMØSA, OR
A ROCK OFFENSIVE NOT ONLY FOR THE UPCOMING HOLIDAYS
Remember
this name! Mymøsa, a rock band from Zaolzie, created, or rather reactivated in
recent months by Lech Bielan and his friends from Wędrynia and Bystrzyca, has
just made its debut on social media with a new video for the song "My Xmas
Song." And that's not the end of the surprises from this band.
CHANCE
LEAGUE: KARVINA BEATS SPARTA! 2:1 IN RAJU AND TEARS OF JOY
A mark of
quality in football – that's how Sunday's performances by Karwina and Sparta
Prague at the Municipal Stadium in Raj could be summed up in the 14th round of
the Chance League. In an excellent spectacle, three points remained in Zaolzie
– Karviná defeated the league leaders 2:1. For the first time in history in front
of their home crowd, and for the second time in the top flight.
