FOUR DAYS OF COLORFUL EXPERIENCES. COLOURS OF OSTRAVA KICKS OFF ON WEDNESDAY
From Wednesday through Saturday, Witkowice Dolne in Ostrava will be taken over by concerts featuring music stars from around the world. Colours of Ostrava offers four days of top-notch fun in the city’s historic industrial district, which will practically never sleep during the festival. The musical headliners for this year’s edition of Colours are Twenty One Pilots, Moby, Lorde, and Teddy Swims. As always, "Głos” will be on site to cover the events for you from the heart of the festival. 

AGREEMENT ON A NUCLEAR REACTOR NEXT WEEK
The Czech Republic is expanding its plans to build small nuclear reactors. One of them is slated to be built in Dziećmorowice in the future. TŘINEC: THE FIRST PROCEDURE OF ITS KIND…Doctors at the Orthopedic Department of the Moravian-Silesian Hospital in Třinec were the first in the Czech Republic to successfully perform a procedure using a new-generation knotless anchoring implant designed to repair meniscus root tears. 

RAINY DAY FESTIVAL
The traditional National Minorities Festival took place in Třinec on Sunday. This year marked the event’s 25th edition.

The buzz surrounding 21-year-old Linda Nosková’s spectacular success at Wimbledon continues. Friends from Poland were also quick to congratulate the young Czech tennis player, who was born in Wsecin. Among those sending their best wishes was the Beskidzki Tennis Club Advantage Bielsko-Biała, whose colors Linda had previously represented in the Polish team championships in the youth categories.
