At the general meeting of Huta Trzyniecka, the largest company in the Moravia Steel Group, journalists were briefed on the current economic situation of the region’s largest employer. The steel mill managed to stay in the black solely thanks to cost-cutting measures. 

ACCIDENT ON THE JABŁONKÓW BYPASS. TRUCK ON FIRE, TWO PEOPLE INJURED
A serious traffic accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on Route I/68, on the Jabłonków bypass near the village of Boconowice. For reasons that remain unknown, the driver of a passenger car veered into the oncoming lane and collided with an oncoming truck. As a result of the collision, the truck burst into flames.

The Polish national rugby team, competing under the banner of the "young” Orły Zaolzia, won the bronze medal on Saturday in Prague at the traditional National Minorities Tournament for the Czech Senate Cup. Roman Konderla’s team defeated Romania 8–1 in the third-place match; earlier, they had suffered an unfortunate 1–2 loss in the semifinals to the tournament champions, Vietnam, and had crushed Moldova 9–1 in the quarterfinals. It is worth noting that in the group stage, our team did not drop a single point, winning all of its matches.
