CZESKI CIESZYN: THE MEMORY OF THIS CRIME ENDURES. KATYŃ FAMILY COMMEMORATED MEMORIAL DAY FOR KATYŃ CRIME VICTIMS
On Thursday, in front of the Katyn plaques in Český Těšín on Konteszyniec, members of the Katyn Family in the Czech Republic, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Ostrava Izabella Wolłejko-Chwastowicz, Senator Jerzy Cienciała, President of the Congress of Poles in the Czech Republic Mariusz Wałach, representatives of the Board of Directors of the Polish Cultural and Educational Association in the Czech Republic and local authorities of both Cieszyns paid tribute to the victims of the Katyn massacre who came from Cieszyn Silesia. This is because Saturday, April 13, marks the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Katyn Massacre, established by the Polish Parliament.
