Kocobędz: PZKO ball in Olympic spirit
Participants of the Olympic Ball in Kocobędz enjoyed themselves in a sporty, Parisian atmosphere on Saturday night. It was organized at the local community center by the PZKO circles in Kocobędz and Ligota. They have been organizing joint carnival parties for years.

Bogumin: 10 roads and 16 sidewalks to be repaired
By June 30 of this year, the city will have repaired 16 sidewalks and 10 roads and parking spaces with a total area of more than 3,500 square meters. Among other things, the parking lot near the school in Zablocie and at the Hvězda restaurant in Petr Bezruč Park will be rebuilt. The infrastructure improvement will cost the city 7 million crowns.

Avenue from Hawierzów the most popular in the province 
Located on Republic Square in Hawierzów, the avenue of Chinese metasequoias has been named Avenue of the Year 2023 of the Moravian-Silesian Region. In the entire Czech Republic, 83 places competed for this title. On the RC scale, the Hawierzów avenue took fifth place, triumphing over the avenue leading to the monastery on Our Lady's Mountain in Dolní Hedeč, Pardubice Province.

Beskydy Crossbar: Victory of Jan Štefela, Paulina Borys second
Trzyniec hosted the 30th anniversary edition of the Beskydy Crossbar international high jump mythathon on Wednesday. Polish athletics also had its representatives in the Werk Arena. Paulina Borys took an excellent second place today, losing only to Greek Tatiana Gusin. Among the men, Czech Jan Štefela triumphed. Norbert Kobielski (PL) withdrew from the competition after suffering a heel injury.
